Over the years there have been numerous imports from some of the Worlds' leading kennels - POOLSTEAD, CHARWAY, DRIFTWAY to name a few..... These have given us a strong base with which to work. Croftsway Labradors have proven themselves as useful shooting companions, treasured family pets and many have qualified as Guide Dogs for the NZ Guide Dog Unit. We are proud to have been able to supply Guide Dog Schools in NZ and Australia with breeding stock - further testimony to the Temperament and physical / mental soundness that we strive for.

"BOBBY" - NZ. GRAND CH, MULTI BISS, MULTI BIS CROFTSWAY FIRST KNIGHT - holds the record for the biggest winning NZ bred Labrador ever. "Bobby" died tragically on 6 March 2010... we are totally devastated by his loss.... Our adorable 'kennel clown' is no more .... Rest in peace dear boy ....
